Enduring electroshock therapy for hours on end. That is the level of pain Bears fans — this scribe very much included — was forced to endure after Jayden Daniels’ Hail Mary prayers were answered Sunday in the Commanders’ shocking 18-15 victory.

Hey Tyrique Stevenson, next time instead of talking smack to fans while the play is underway, check your ego and focus on your damn job. Your blatant ineptitude has entered the all-time blunder conversation. Nice work.

Also in the running is Matt Eberflus siding with the illogical decision by offensive coordinator Shane Waldron to hand the ball off to an offensive lineman in a crucial moment during a 12-7 game. And the other misgivings repeatedly witnessed deserve ceaseless ridicule.

Nope, this Dick Butkus jersey owner isn’t bitter at all. And yes, the Malort bottle is empty.

In Washington, Williams fell well short of this gambler’s two-plus TD expectations against a Commanders secondary that was No. 27 in pass EPA defense entering the week. Facing another porous on-paper unit in Week 9, the rookie quarterback should redeem himself and recuperate units lost.

The Desert Birds have been grounded repeatedly through the air this season. They’re No. 30 in pass EPA D, conceding 7.96 passing yards per attempt, 245.6 passing yards per game, 14 total touchdowns and the seventh-most fantasy points to QBs.

Williams doubters probably believe his development is a classic one-step-forward-two-steps-back case. After his unsatisfying display against Washington, that point of view is warranted. After all, he’s just No. 26 in adjusted completion percentage through seven games. However, the No. 1 overall pick has tossed at least two touchdowns in three of his last five games and is steadily contributing an extra 3-5 fantasy points each week with his legs.

Facing a premium matchup and looking to wash away the bitterness from Sunday, Williams returns to the QB1 class in 12-team formats.

Someone pass the Advil.

Bo knows QB1 level performances against meek secondaries. On Sunday against Carolina, Denver’s rookie passer posted his finest fantasy effort to date, skewering a completely zombified Panthers defense with 29.8 fantasy points, which ranked No. 2 among Week 8 signal callers. Now blessed with a matchup against a battered Baltimore defense, he is a strong candidate to land inside the QB top 12 yet again. The Ravens check in at No. 28 in pass EPA D, allowing 8.1 passing yards per attempt, 311.7 passing yards per game, 18 total touchdowns and the third-most fantasy points to QBs. Due to his opponent’s unbending aggressiveness toward containing the ground game, Nix is likely to have his rushing production decreased, but his restored chemistry with Courtland Sutton should have the Broncos QB uncorking early and often in a contest that could have the scoreboard operator sweating. Debate his services considerably.

Fearless Forecast: 263 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, 1 interception, 21 rushing yards, 22.3 fantasy points

Season record: 12-5
