Week 13 Fantasy Flames: Brissett and others to feast

Each week the Noise highlights under-started names who he believes are destined to torch the competition. To qualify, each player must be started in fewer than 60 percent of Yahoo! leagues. Speaking as an accountability advocate, I will post results, whether genius or moronic, the following week (Scoring thresholds – QB: 18 fantasy points; RB: 12 fantasy points [10 for shockers], WR: 11 fantasy points: TE: 10 fantasy points; .5 PPR).

Not only has the Arizona backup provided an assist on what qualifies as taxable income, he’s greatly boosted the bottom line for those managers who play in challenging formats. He’s scored at least 18 fantasy points in six straight games -- including the record-shattering 47 completions he logged in a lopsided loss at home to San Francisco. And a couple of those performances were achieved without WR1 Marvin Harrison Jr. Suffice it to say, the Brisket has been tender, very tender.

A date with Vita Vea and Tampa on their turf may not warrant an extra layer of lipstick, but it’s not overly intimidating. Entering Week 13, the Bucs are a middling No. 18 in dropback EPA D, allowing 7.69 pass yards per attempt, 262.3 pass yards per game, 23 total touchdowns and the second-most fantasy points to QBs.

Brissett’s advanced profile doesn’t quite mesmerize. He’s QB14 in adjusted completion percentage. However, QB3 in deep-ball completion and QB12 in red-zone completion rates, he also hasn’t resembled Anthony Richardson.

For gamers looking to solidify their playoff standing, the Progressive pitchman is a policy to purchase.

Fearless Forecast: 276 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, 0 interceptions, 14 rushing yards, 23.2 fantasy points

Charbonnet all day is without a doubt a time-honored Thanksgiving tradition your Aunt Lisa subscribes to. At approximately 10:03 AM local time, the cork is popped, a generous glass is poured and consumption commences. Usually not ending until well into the night, she inevitably passes out snoring on the couch as Christmas Vacation plays in the background. Welcome to the holiday season.

Seattle's version may not smash the fermented grapes, but the buzz he's packed has proven fruitful in deeper formats. Working in concert with Kenneth Walker, he's earned roughly 45% of the opportunity share within Mike McDonad's RBBC. Relatively efficient, he's amassed 3.04 yards after contact per attempt (RB27) and 26 total missed tackles (RB18). Most importantly for fantasy purposes, he's been heavily utilized near the goal line, totaling 29 red-zone touches while scoring seven touchdowns.

Minnesota is on its heels -- especially in the trenches. Entering the week, the Vikes are a disappointing No. 19 in rush EPA defense, allowing 3.92 yards per carry, 127.7 total yards per game and nine total touchdowns to RBs.

In what potentially will be a lopsided affair, look for Charbonnet to reach at least 10 fantasy points for the third time in his last four games.

Oh, and have fun with Aunt Lisa.

Fearless Forecast: 11 rushes, 41 rushing yards, 1 reception, 6 receiving yards, 1 touchdown, 11.2 fantasy points

On the college gridiron, the I-L-L may be spiraling, but on the pro circuit, one of it's program memorable grads is starting to soar.

Sean Payton has raved about his run blocking and other little things Bryant brings to the table. As a result, his snap share has consistently fallen in the 50-60% range.

Troy Franklin may be Denver's true WR2, but the rookie is starting to emerge as a reliable WR3 weapon. Running at least 22 routes in three straight, he's topped 40 yards in three of his last four, including a season-best 82 yards Week 11 versus Kansas City. Currently top-20 among qualifying wideouts in yards per target (9.2) and yards per reception (15.4), he's bound to log a splashy catch or three each game down the homestretch.

Washington is simply going through the motions. Battered by injuries and ineptitude, the Commanders enter Week 13 rock bottom in dropback EPA defense. This season, they've allowed the third-most yards and second-most fantasy points to wide receivers. More specifically, his projected primary assignment, SCB Noah Igbinoghene, has yielded a 70.0% catch rate, 17.6 yards per reception and 111.7 passer rating on 58 coverage snaps. Yep, it's quite the premium matchup.

Managers looking to roll the dice at WR3 should think Orange and Blue. Bryant's recent rise isn't an anomaly.

Fearless Forecast: 3 receptions, 61 receiving yards, 1 touchdown, 13.6 fantasy points
