The hoopla, hysteria and general hype are unrivaled around the NFL Draft, where the usual pomp and circumstance is filled with stylish suits, neck-draped bling, main-stage struts, Roger Goodell bro hugs and lifelong dreams realized. However, selfish gamers only care about one thing — Where does the rookie rank in the fantasy pecking order?

Matthew Golden, WR, Packers

Giving off Spider-Man meme vibes, Golden could have a first-year arc identical to another former Texas Longhorn wide receiver — Kansas City’s Xavier Worthy.

With Christian Watson’s road to recovery longer than Route 66, Golden should attract Jordan Love’s immediate attention. Come season’s end, the rookie is bound to accumulate over 100 targets and log the occasional splashy weekly output.

Last year in Austin, Golden showcased considerable route versatility, whether sprinting out of the slot or flanker positions. He often won in contested catch situations (11) and outside the numbers on various explosive pass plays (No. 6 in deep yards).

Equipped with blazing 4.29 40-yard wheels, the 5-foot-11, 191-pounder should generate separation consistently. His pairing with Jordan Love, a noted quality deep-ball passer, is an ideal match, especially in a Packers offense in need of downfield playmakers.

Likely available after the first 50 WRs are crossed off draft cheat sheets, Golden is a later-round target oozing WR3 potential in 12-team leagues.

Golden isn't fantasy pyrite.

Fearless Forecast: 62 receptions, 888 receiving yards, 6 touchdowns
