Each week, the Noise highlights under-started names who he believes are destined to torch the competition. To qualify, each player must have started in fewer than 60 percent of Yahoo leagues. Speaking as an accountability advocate, I will post results, whether genius or moronic, the following week. Scoring thresholds (0.5 PPR) – QB: 18 fantasy points; RB: 12 fantasy points (10 for shockers); WR: 11 fantasy points; TE: 10 fantasy points.

Go to your basement bar, grab a crystal clear glass, pop a cork and let the hours-long celebration begin.

It’s a Charbonnet all-day kind of fantasy week.

With Seattle decision makers exercising extreme caution and patience toward Kenneth Walker III and his bothersome oblique, the forecast remains sunny for the elevated second fiddle. Based on early week reports, Charbonnet should again command a highly attractive 80-plus percent opportunity share.

As gamers are fully aware, volume wears a bejeweled crown. If Walker sits, which appears likely, approximately 18-22 touches are practically inevitable for the former UCLA Bruin.

Last week in New England, Charbonnet was better than the standard per touch average (3.6) suggested. Thanks to an end-zone splash, he contributed double-digit fantasy points. He also forced three missed tackles and tallied a solid 3.07 YAC per attempt. Again, when given 19 touches, fantasy scoring pathways almost always present themselves. His terrific secondary profile implies terrific gains ahead.

Tua Tagavailoa’s jarring concussion has the Dolphins reeling on both ends. They are not only severely hampered offensively, but the increased responsibility placed on the shoulders of Jalen Ramsey and cohorts is also problematic. Miami does stands at No. 6 in rush EPA D, but has allowed 5.74 yards per touch to RBs through two weeks. It's a plus fantasy matchup — especially given the longest cross-continental trip imaginable in the NFL.

Keep close tabs on practice reports this week. If Walker sits, Charbonnet could venture into RB1 territory in 12-team PPR leagues. If "The Third" is active, his compatriot is worth a FLEX sip in identical formats.

Fearless Forecast (without Walker): 16 carries, 64 rushing yards, 4 receptions, 22 receiving yards, 1 touchdown, 16.6 fantasy points

Since the news dropped about Isiah Pacheco’s fractured fibula, debate has raged in the fantasy community about how Andy Reid will handle the backfield. In this often-wrong analyst’s view, Samaje Perine will operate on passing downs with Steele powering ahead in ground-and-pound situations. Yes, his workload will be stunted, but the big-bodied rookie (6-foot, 228 pounds) is an ideal fit for short yardage action, particularly at the goal line. When Pacheco exited late in Week 2, the pet alligator owner was immediately called upon to work between the tackles. Going against a mediocre Falcons run D — it ranks No. 16 in rush EPA defense — and running the rock behind a top-10 offensive line, he is a viable RB2 in challenging leagues. Playing alongside Patrick Mahomes only benefits. On roughly 11-14 carries, Steele immediately rewards FAAB investors with a double-digit fantasy-point performance. Do it for Crocky-J, rookie.

Fearless Forecast: 12 carries, 51 rushing yards, 1 touchdown, 1 reception, 6 receiving yards, 12.3 fantasy points

Bellying up to a $1 blackjack table at the Vegas Four Queens around 2:30 a.m. in a desperate attempt to reverse your luck — about a dozen beverages in no less. That, my fellow gamblers and fantasy friends, is how White investors feel only two weeks in. Last year’s late-season playoff run is long in the past. Currently trapped in an annoying RBBC with the terribly inefficient Alexander Mattison, White has an uneventful 84 total yards on 27 touches, netting only 2.27 YAC per attempt. But there are few better slump busters than the Hello Kitties from Charlotte. As it presently stands, Carolina is No. 28 in EPA rush D, surrendering 186.5 total yards per game and three TDs to RBs. Expect White to bring the wallop in his first meaningful statistical effort of the season. Order another drink.

Fearless Forecast: 13 carries, 61 rushing yards, 1 touchdown, 2 receptions, 14 receiving yards, 14.5 fantasy points

Season record: 3-3
