Here are the best bets for Panthers-Rangers Game 5 in the Eastern Conference final.

Rangers 3-Way ML (+145, BetMGM)

Brandon Velaski — There’s no way the East final sees a fourth-straight overtime game even though it’s been tight since Florida’s 3-0 victory in Game 1. The series has been back and forth, and I expect the Rangers to throw the next punch at home while making sure they win in regulation.

Carter Verhaeghe OVER 3.5 shots on goal (+100, BetMGM)

Lou Saccomando — Verhaeghe has been the Panthers’ playoff spark plug the last few years. He’s already set a career postseason high with nine goals and matched his best playoff point total with 17. He hit this over in three of the first four games of the series, and he is second on the team in total shots this postseason with 59. Thanks to goalie Igor Shesterkin, the Rangers are tied with Florida at 2-2 despite the Panthers outplaying New York by a wide margin. In Thursday’s crucial Game 5, Verhaeghe should hit this over.
