We begin with our picks for the Game of the Night on Thursday.

TORONTO at BOSTON, 7 p.m. ET

Brandon Velaski's pick — Bruins 3-Way ML (+105)

The Bruins are coming off a brutal 2-1 overtime loss to Edmonton on Tuesday, so I expect them to be sharp. Despite two of the three previous meetings with Toronto having to go more than 60 minutes, they just beat the Leafs 4-1 in regulation on Monday.

Lou Saccomando's pick — SGP: Maple Leafs ML vs. Bruins and Auston Matthews ATG (+325)

The Maple Leafs have won 10 of the last 12 games, including their last four on the road. Auston Matthews scored three goals in the first 3 games of the season series, and he netted his NHL-leading 54th goal in overtime in Wednesday night’s 2-1 win against the Sabres.

WASHINGTON at PITTSBURGH, 7 p.m. ET

Brandon Velaski's pick — Alex Ovechkin Over 3.5 SOG vs. Penguins (-105)

Ovi has 15 shots in his last three games. He’s also hit the over on this total in each of the first two matchups with Pittsburgh this season.

EDMONTON at COLUMBUS, 7 p.m. ET

Lou Saccomando's pick — Leon Draisaitl Over 1.5 Points vs. Blue Jackets (+125)

Draisaitl has hit the multi-point mark in three straight games and in five of his last seven. He is seventh in the NHL in points per game at 1.33.

Season record: 0-3, -3 units
