The Pick: SGP - Jaylen Warren 50+ rush yards, Steelers ML (+108, ESPN Bet)
A bowling ball with cleats, Warren is short, stocky and always willing to obliterate any pins that stand in his way.
Only occasionally supplanted by Kenneth Gainwell and underperforming rookie Kaleb Johnson, Mike Tomlin's most trusted back has performed adequately on his 66.3% opportunity share earned. He's averaged a terrific 5.0 yards per touch, netting 3.00 yards after contact per attempt. Also ranking laudably in yards created per touch (RB12), yards after contact per attempt (RB27) an total missed tackles forced (18), Warren has blasted his way to serviceable production, averaging 46.0 rush yards per game.
What's most buyable is how bungling the Bengals have performed defensively. Possibly without their premier pass rusher Trey Hendrickson (back), the highly penetrable front is a JV squad in stripes. Through six weeks, they're No. 28 in rush EPA defense, allowing a laughable 4.57 yards per carry, 119.7 rush yards per game and 10 total touchdowns to RBs. There isn't a defense in fantasy or betting that's been more generous to opposing rushers.
Wax that ass Warren.
Short weeks are always tough to gauge. Some teams don't skip a beat, while others stumble unprepared through four quarters. The finger is squarely pointed at you, Philadelphia Eagles.
However, the unchallenged pacesetters in the AFC North are unlikely to slough.
Pick up that bright yellow ball, squeeze your fingers into the holds, smoothly move forward and release. For those who chuck a few bucks on the Steelers' smasher should strike it rich on Thursday night.
In my best Ernie McCracken, "Keep 'em coming sweets."
NO CONTEXT PARLAY PLAY: Ja'Marr Chase 60+ receiving yards, Kenneth Gainwell 20+ rush yards (+136, ESPN Bet)
