For nearly two decades in the sports media biz, this booming voice bobbed and weaved as the gaming industry evolved. Fantasy’s rise and mainstream entrance were accurately predicted. When the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PASPA) fell in 2018, the widespread legalization and integration of betting content were equally foreseen. Not to be outdone, the popularity of player props were also anticipated. Too bad the associated game/player forecasts were not impeccably foretold. Undoubtedly, “right place, right time” is a fitting phrase for my longevity as a content creator.
Since getting laid off from Bally Sports in August 2023, I have hustled to try and land the next opportunity. Working as co-creator, executive producer and on-air talent for my television show, “Live on the Line,” kept me plenty busy. My gratitude toward BetMGM and Stadium are ceaseless. However, my explanations will require a minimal investment (FREE preview for now!). Why? Because, in this current media climate, writers must take control of their careers in order to earn a fair rate.
