Yes, dear reader, I literally put all of Clark’s props for Indiana’s home game against Chicago on Saturday in a random selection generator and let the cosmos choose for me. The over on her rebounds is what I got.
At first glance, I wasn’t in love with it. Clark’s rebounding has been slowing down lately, as she has boarded under this number in each of her last three contests. But maybe there’s hope for me yet!
The Sky do not rebound well. In fact, they are next-to-last in the WNBA in opponent rebounding, giving up 36.7 boards a game. Maybe now that Clark is facing a bad team on the glass, she’ll get more opportunities.
Also, Chicago ranks 10th in field-goal percentage (42.2%). A poor shooting team that’s unable to grab rebounds could bode well for Clark’s rebounding over. With her recent lack of success on the boards, maybe we’re getting a good price.
The cosmos selected this bet. So if this doesn’t work, I’m going to need someone (Brad Evans) to do a full-on exorcism on me to fix this.
