GAME OF THE NIGHT

  • Game 6 — Boston Bruins at Toronto Maple Leafs, 8 p.m. ET

Bruins to score first in the 1st period (+130, BetMGM)

Brandon Velaski — We went 2-2 on Tuesday, so I’m going with a heat check here. So far in the series, Boston has scored first in three of the five games. I expect Toronto to press in front of the home crowd, get out early and force a Game 7, but that means the counter is there for Boston.

UNDER 6.5 total goals (-165, BetMGM)

Lou Saccomando — I need a win, so here goes nothing. All five games have been six total goals or fewer. Auston Matthews’ status remains in doubt, and the Bruins play great team defense. Boston really let me down on Tuesday, and this sport and these two teams have too much history to pick an outright winner. We all love Game 7s, but I’ll go with facts and expect another close, low-scoring game.

NHL postseason record: 3-9, -6.95 units
