GAME OF THE NIGHT

  • Boston Bruins at Nashville Predators, 8 p.m. ET

Cody Glass over 1.5 shots on goal (-150)

Brandon Velaski — Is this bet a little juicy? Sure is. But the name of the game is winning bets, not style points. Glass has hit this threshold in four of his last five games. The Preds are on a two-game slide and need this one to stay in the thick of the Western Conference race, so expect Glass to fire away.

SGP: Predators ML vs. Bruins, Under 6.5 total goals (+200)

Lou Saccomando — The Predators have been one of the best teams in hockey over the last few months. They recently just had their franchise-record 18-game point streak snapped after losing to the Coyotes, but they have won seven of their last eight home games. Boston has been up and down on the road recently. Expect a low-scoring clash between two of the NHL’s best.

MORE PICKS

  • Florida Panthers at Montreal Canadiens, 7 p.m. ET
  • Washington Capitals at Buffalo Sabres, 7 p.m. ET
  • Pittsburgh Penguins at New Jersey Devils, 7 p.m. ET

Sam Reinhart anytime goal at Canadiens (+145)

Brandon Velaski — The Panthers are coming off a 6-4 loss to Toronto in which Reinhart extended his point streak to six games with a third-period tally. Florida can’t afford to get swept in Canada as it battles Boston for first place in the Atlantic Division. Expect plenty of goals in this one. That usually means Reinhart, who has 52 on the season, will be a part of it.

Parlay: Capitals ML at Sabres, Devils ML vs. Penguins (+241)

Lou Saccomando — It’s a huge night in the Eastern Conference wild-card race. The Capitals hold the last wild card and need a big win on the road against the Sabres, who need a miracle to get in the playoffs. Washington is 6-3-1 in its last 10 games and is only one point behind the Flyers for the coveted third spot in the Metropolitan Division. The Penguins won 5-2 at the Rangers on Monday, so New Jersey gets Pittsburgh (just 13-7-7 on the road) on a back-to-back at home. This is desperation time for the Devils, who sit six points back of the Capitals for the final wild-card spot.
